Merci
Today there is a mist, It’s in my heart and on my lashes. I wish I could tell Mom & Dad How much they have given me. The humor, the tenacity, The foundation, The memories, The character, The essence of who I am. God – will you please tell them thank you again? I wish I could at least one more time. – RG

Pursuing Yes
I’m excited. Ok, so that’s pretty much my norm, right? But this time, it’s a little different… Lots of people believe the Church is irrelevant. Unfortunately, in some cases the institution(s) with that moniker have been their own worst enemy. I beg to differ, though, because God has called the Church to be relevant and “set apart”. Huh? How can that be? How can we be involved (relevant) and set apart at the same time? It’s all about how you approach the phrase. How about outstanding? Inspiring? Valuable? Cherished? Unique? Priceless? The attributes believers in Jesus bring to others should be prefaced by adjectives of great worth and desirability. Life,…

Joyful, Oh Yeah!
Now that the move is history, I’ve been able to focus more on writing. These are exciting days. My second manuscript has been sent to the publisher. I am hoping the second book will be released THIS MONTH! Woo-hoo! “The Call to Damascus” will be released as hard copy, iBooks and Kindle. Also, “The Call of Dreams” will be re-released in iBooks and Kindle formats. I’m busily editing book 3 – which will be released at mid-year. This journey is a happy one. I’m so grateful to be using my talents. It’s funny, I was reading about using or burying them a day or so ago. Giddy-up! 2018 is going…

Redeemed
Wrapped in sunlight, Hope is strong. Laughter is easy, And joy is near. So thankful for the love of friends. God redeems the days. His purpose has become mine. Unwavering. Forging ahead. I see the future. It has come. I rejoice. – RG

Yes! It’s Done
The wonder of it all is setting in. Many, many changes have happened in the past months. Today, as I pen this, the enormity of several of them is apparent. Of course, I wish Mom and Dad were with me. Maybe they are, and I just can’t see them? However, I know the spirit of my new place is filled with joy, and love and beauty. I sure know where those come from! Today, gratitude fills my heart. “Every valley shall be raised up, every mountain and hill made low; the rough ground shall become level, the rugged places a plain. And the glory of the Lord will be revealed,…

Down to a Science
Dallas has been – oh, so good to me! I’m so blessed and grateful for friends, memories and almost 4 years here. In just a little over a week, my peaceful, beautiful apartment will be upside-down with moving boxes. I’m trying to ignore it. I enjoy the aesthetic beauty of my surroundings. No doubt about it. In a few, short days, Sammy and I will be on the road again. Look out, Willie Nelson, we will be joining you! 🙂 The transition to the new job seems to be going smoothly. Of course it’s only been a week. There is a lot to learn. I love to contribute! Yesterday was…
