Music in my Head

I got started early this morning, because I didn’t want to run my dryer in the heat of the day. So, that encouraged me to make a run over to Southlake to Trader Joe’s. That’s always fun. I haven’t been there in a while, so it was even more enjoyable.

I did some other errands and chores, too – so my day has been productive. Now it’s quiet and I am remembering how my day started – before the sun was up. It was a moment.

Have you even woken up with a song in your head? That happens to me frequently. Today is was one that I had not heard in a long time…and it’s a stunner. Yolanda Adams recorded this…I don’t know how many years ago. Let Us Worship Christ Our Savior.

This seems important today because when one is in the presence of God, the burdens fall away…at His throne there is no fear, no worry, no anxiety. In His presence there is joy.

I encourage you today to stop and listen to this. Think about what this song really means.
